Young Adults Helping Others Onwards In Christ

My Time in Japan Konnichiwa, this is Donican here. As most people may already be aware, I have just returned from a semester (~4.5 months) studying in Japan, and just want to share a little bit about how good God was to me during my time there. Since high school, I had dreamt of going to Japan, and the more I studied the language and learnt about the country, the more my desire to do so grew. What started as just a mild interest in anime/manga soon grew to become a fascination and appreciation for the entire culture and people. GOODBYE turkey slapping, hello to Krap Karaoke IV. As those tiresome housemates fade into post-ratings obscurity, here comes another bunch of desperate dreamers whose hopes will be trashed in the name of selling cars, junk food and mobile phones.

As the fourth season of Australian Idol looms, there has been plenty of spin suggesting a sexy revamp of the tired old format will return it to the halcyon days when it attracted an audience of two million plus.

"I don't know any karaoke bar which has a 40-piece orchestra and two million people watching it. I think it shows a lack of imagination," says executive producer Stephen Tate.

"There are a lot of things you could call it that are more descriptive."

Let's give it a shot, shall we? What about Post Modern Young Talent Time? Pot O' Mould? Red Faeces? Gullible Guinea Pigs? And my personal favourite - Criminal Intent (for crimes against music).
